Meet the Artists :: Rosie and Mark BarrisA special person once told me to follow my passion; I have followed that advice in creating whimsical clay designs to make people happy. I've always had art in my life, from a little girl with crayons and a coloring book, then painting on different media, to needle arts, I'm always learning something different to widen my artistic horizons. I discovered the medium of pottery quite by accident, the art courses I selected in college were filled and by chance they had a few openings left in a pottery and sculpturing class, so I jumped in. After the first few classes, I was hooked. Along with working with different types of clay, I discovered the joy of learning how to create my own glazes. Now I can run with scissors! My husband, Mark has joined me in this endeavor. His artistic eye for color and sculpting techniques is the perfect addition to my "little world of whimsy". We try to create fun and whimsical items that will bring a laugh and a smile. We are the perfect "ying and yang" couple that works together to share the joy, and have fun doing it! So please sit back and enjoy yourself while you visit our website. Welcome to our "whimsical little world"! Please feel free to contact us with your comments or questions. Love,
Rosie and Mark Barris
